Helena has worked as a consultant in leadership development for over 18 years working with clients in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. Prior to moving into consulting, Helena worked in strategic and operational HR roles within Aon, Dennis Publishing and Touche Ross. She has spent much of her consulting career at Roffey Park and created the Leadership Development practice at Blue Sky Performance Improvement.

As a coach, Helena is both straight talking and empathic, clear and compassionate. In balancing both support and challenge she helps clients see their blind-spots, develop new insights, see things from a different perspective and try new ways of working. She helps them raise their levels of self awareness and, from there, their personal effectiveness.
Her practice is rooted in academic depth and rigour which she balances with a deeply practical way of working. She always seeks to ask ‘so what?’ and to make learning useful. Her approach is integrative, drawing on a range of disciplines from psychodynamic and humanistic to mindfulness. She particularly enjoys helping people flourish amongst the pressures of today’s leadership.
